How to write a good email to your work colleagues without grammar and spelling mistakes

Introduction

Hi, my name is Camil, I'm 19 years old, and I was born in Montreal. I'm someone who likes to play football and go to the gym. I'm the kind of person always ready to party and who is not able to stay in place. I study in Natural Sciences and this is my 5th and final session at Lionel-Groulx College. In Natural Sciences, I study mathematics, chemistry, physique, and biology. In the future, I want to be an engineer and I want to specialize in the field of mechanics. More precisely, I want to become a mechanical engineer. As an engineer, I should discuss and solve complex problems with manufacturing departments, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers, recommend changes following the results of a test prototype or work with other professionals, inside and outside the engineering industry. To achieve this, I would have to send emails to my colleagues at work. Today, I’m going to show you a website that can help an engineer eliminate common email errors.

The Problem

The first step is to open your browser. After that, click in the address bar write VirtualWritingTutor.com. If you type it correctly, you will see the Virtual Writing Tutor in the upper left corner. Below the logo, there is the navigation menu. Completely in the right of the navigation menu you will see a link to login. The text box to correct your email is in the middle of the screen. There is a series of icons in the lower right corner of the text box to help you pronounce it. The buttons you needed to correct the text are above the text box.

The Quest

The Solution

After that day, you are never going to make a mistake in your emails again. Before, I want to show you how to use this website to find and correct the errors in your email. First, paste your email into the text area. Second, click “Check Grammar” in the bar menu above the text box. The system checks your text for common errors and automatically scrolls down to show you your errors. Third, correct your mistakes with the feedback of the Virtual Writing Tutor. And finally, repeat the second and third step until you don't have any more grammar and spelling mistakes.

The Conclusion
